Ardmore. Trip.

I know its been forever since I blogged. Im sorry about that.. although no one reads this I am sure. This was a really good weekend for me.. except for the fact that I didnt get to see my husband for a couple days=( I missed him.. I feel lost when he isnt here lol because we are always together.. but anywho.. I went to Ardmore to visit my family while he was on his trip with McNair. I love being able to spend time with my family and those that are most important to me.. I also went up to the mall a couple times to visit Andrea.. I missed her too. We used to be a lot closer than we are now.. but she is still one of my really good friends. I went to Chanoa's little sister Celena's birthday party as well. Man, she is getting old! Oh how time flys.. I actually remember the day that Sandy brought her home from the hospital.. ten years ago.. wow. Things have changed so much. I also got to see Norma, her husband and Kara. It was nice to see them.. I havent seen them or some other people I used to be super close with in forever.. Its good to see where ever one is now.. I mean I am sure things could always be better.. but everyone seems to be.. surviving. I went to eat lunch with Andrea on Saturday at this new place in Ardmore called Ten Star Pizza. I kept staring at the owner because I knew I remembered him from somewhere.. well come to find out he was my english teacher in high school that moved away. Its funny how Ardmore has that way of pulling people back in.. I dont understand that.. but nonetheless.. it was a nice visit. My family is doing well... which is always a blessing. I also got to get some letters from Clifford, my old boss. I was waiting to meet him and I didnt see him.. then finally some guy walked by that looked like him only 100 POUNDS lighter!! lol I was like oh my goodness! Im proud of him! =) He is trying to be all healthy and stuff! I love success stories=) Anywho.. its super late and I need to read my Bible and go to bed.. I could say alot more though.. but I wont.

Another day. ahhh, doesnt it feel good to know that you have successfully completed another day! I love the Lord! My day was rather boring though as usual.. its very routine. bleh, but i have a GREAT testimony=) I made a 98 on my OB test!! Yahoo!! I was sooo happy when I saw the grade!! GOD is so good.. and I give him all the glory because Lord knows I shouldnt be staying up till four am to study but he works it out anyhow! So there is my testimony.. I encourage you all to have some faith! Other than that, I went to class this morning a little early to get some things in order for our class presentation! Ours was over Laryngeal cancer.. can you say boring lol.. but I think we did pretty good. After class, Ancy and I went to the computer lab to do something for OB so at least that assignment is complete! I also signed up to do my make up med surg sim tomorrow so i can get it over with.. I HATE sim.. it makes me nervous! I went to work at 12:30 and basically did nothing but run a few errands for work and take my scholarship app to howell hall! After work, Tim, Kyle, and I went to pick up a bed we bought from someone.. Its not brand new but they seem like clean people and i KNOW it will be better than our bed! So Im super excited about that! I cant wait till we get to set it up! We then got ready to go to Brittani's for Bible study which was good! I met her roommate she is a sweetie! =) Now I am really tired.. but thats the synapsis for my day! I hope you enjoyed=))))

official valentines day!

Well well well.. we meet again.. sorry Im a slacker.. Sunday Night I was studying for a test from like 9 till 4 am so I didnt really get a chance to blog.. I think thats a pretty good reason though. I am sOO tired. I need rest.. and I signed up to make up for med surg sim tomorrow but thats not THAT big of a deal because I would have been at work anyway.. I just kinda need sleep. Tim is going out of town this weekend for something with Mcnair so I think I am going to go to Ardmore to visit because I miss my familia so much and I dont wanna sleep at the house alone.. (lame I know) haha I didnt really do much today.. except work and I had TWO tests.. gag me. I feel like I kinda neglected one of them for the other so hopefully my grade doesnt reflect that lol.. At work I didnt do much except work on some stuff for class.. then I rushed around after I got off to get some strawberries and chocolate to make chocolate covered strawberries and I got Tim some candy and a card since he ALWAYS complains of me eating his lol.. I then went to get him a ballon because I didnt wanna waste money on getting him a flower or something lol When we got home we laid down and took a nap because we were both exhausted.. exciting I know. haha then I cooked dinner-- one of those Bertoli things.. it was super good actually. We then proceded to do homework and I watched some shows online.. nothing big. I NEEd to clean my house.. Im anal about clutter and its definitely that so I might do that soon. Anywho, Im just rambling and boring so ill post some other time.. LOVE YOU ALL!=) Happy Valentine's day.. offically.

V day and Amber's birthday parttttay!

Ahhh.. Oh my goodness. So first of all, I was laying here taking a break from studying watching the end of teen mom on the computer minding my own business and all of a sudden a HUGE spider crawls out of no where like right by my face!! At first I was like okay its one of those hoppy spider cricket looking things but NO it was a real spider it looked muscular and it was brown!! MY goodness I JETTED out of bed! I was planning on trying to kill it myself but it was wayyy too intimidating.. like normally im not scared of spiders but this one was a bit ridculous..  so I called Tim in here and before he came in he was like oh whatever its probably just a little spider.. then he got in here and was like you were right.. it is a big spider lol! So we strategized and were gonna spray it with poison but for one we didnt want it to get on my pillow or my side of the bed and for two,  we didnt think that would be a quick enough death.. like it may have ran off somewhere so Tim decided to be heroic and hit it.. which is no easy matter on a soft surface like a pillow and this thing was quick! Well he goes in for the kill and............... HITS it!! but then immediately jumps back and screams like a girl lol!! I wish I would have gotten that moment on camera=) good times.. excluding the fact that I am now paranoid to go to sleep for fear that its mate may come looking for it.. ekkk! Alright now to my day and yesterday since I didnt write, Yesterday was a good day. I went to class till about two then Tim and I came home and took a short nap before going to the hotel for our early Valentines day=) We had to drop Typ off at Chanoas first and she was soo scared.. poor baby.. she hardly left here little corner.. I felt bad for her and Chanoa said it was depressing. lol She was shakin so bad and did not want me to leave.. I hate leaving my little baby girl!!! Anywho, the hotel was fun! I loved being able to watch some cable tv lol I know that sounds corny but when you dont have it you appreciate it more haha later on that night we went to eat at beverly's waffle house which was GOOD..then went back to the hotel and basically watched tv while Tim did some necessary homework and I slowly drifted off to dream land.. It was a good night.. we planned on getting up early to partake of the free breakfast but the bed was SOO comfy we didnt get a chance to.. lol we woke up at like 11 or so and took showers and checked out at 12..after that we went to the mall and that was basically it with that.. We then came home and went to pick up Typ.. she came out of her shell a little when we got there and started playing and drinking gobs of water haha.. At about 6, we went to Amber's birthday party!! It was super fun! We basically just sat around and talked for a long time then ate.. yummy.. we did play one half game of pictionary though! That was fun too.. so overall a good night.. although Ancy wanted to leave like super early but us slackers held her hostage until like 10 haha Tim and I left shortly after Anc did and I came home and started studying shortly after.. I got a good hour and a half in before I became bored lol.. I did eat something AGAIN that made me have an allergic reaction except im not quite sure what it was this time.. something healthy I think lol.. I think im just allergic to healthy foods? haha bad. but my mouth started tingly which is a KEY indicator that Im allergic to something.. I stopped eating after that.. but my other symptoms have a slow onset so it took about 2 hrs for me to start feeling like jittery and my stomach to start hurting.. but my tummy hurts pretty bad.. Im just glad it wasnt a reaction like before.. but I would sure like to know what caused it!! Thats all I got for tonight though.. Sorry Im posting this after tweleve.. whoops.. but I still consider this the same day because I havent gone to sleep yet! lol Well goodnight world!

Yet again, not much to say. Im sure people that actually read this are probably like geez this is so boring lol. but anyways, I basically slept all day. I didnt have clinical today due to it being my "day off" from ob clinical so I slept. I was planning on waking up and going in to work so I could get some extra hours because we missed so many days last week but that just didnt sound appealing as I was laying in bed! haha So i didnt go to work when I should have.. but I did get some laundry done and wash some dishes.. I also watched a couple tv shows and studied some.. GO ME. seriously I started studying for a test more than the night before.. I dont remember the last time that happened.. really! haha. So I studied some while Tim was at work then when he got here I made dinner while he washed the rest of the dishes and watched basketball online.. It was actually his night to make dinner but I knew he didnt really know how to make it and I didnt feel like explaining it to him lol soo I made it. I made baked ziti.. its soooo good! I love it and its very simple to make.. plus I added a slightly healthier spin on it and make it with turkey meat =).. I tried to get Tim to put his computer up for dinner and I literally had to pry it out of his hands because the game was in the fourth quarter.. and he says " you dont stop watching a game in the fourth quarter" haha like I care.. but he muted it and left it in the living room and just glanced over a little.. so I would say that was a decent compromise! After dinner I began studying again.. after watching greys of course! Im a studying machine.. plus i enjoy studying OB though! I also took out a little time to book Tim and I a hotel room for tomorrow to celebrate our early valentine's day! Its our first one married so we wanted to do something a little more special=) It should be fun! Im excited its good to just get away from the house sometime! Now I am sitting here about to do this ati book questions and go to bed shortly! Love you all.

Not much to say. I should be sleeping.. or being productive! Its super late and I havent done any homework.. why am I SOOO not productive on snow days?! ughh its quite annoying.. Plus Friday Tim and I plan to do something for valentines day and saturday we are going to Ambers birthday party in the evening.. which leaves not much studying time.. GR. I have tomorrow off for clinical but i really plan on working tomorrow to try to make up at least SOME hours I missed due to the stupid snow. Like yes I love missing class but I do not like having to make up a thousand clinicals or tests and I want MONEY and I cant work if the school is closed.. hmph. bad thing about working for the school but I do LOVe my job. Anywho, My day wasnt to exciting.. Tim and I slept for a long time today.. and play argued about who was gonna make breakfast lol.. neither of us did though.. we both ate cereal and he ate some ramen! Then Tim took ANOTHER nap shortly after lol he was a sleepy head.. while I lolly gagged on the computer and cleaned a little. We were gonna eat dinner at home but Dre from the church was having his birthday dinner so we went to BWW and ate and fellowshiped! We then came home and talked for an hour or two while I should have been studying and NOW he is doing his homework in the kitchen I think and I am sitting here writing this and probably about to go to bed so I can get up early and hopefully go in to work! That is all I got for now.. sorry these things are so boring but some days I just dont feel like being productive and thinking of something clever to say lol.. and NO I did not forget about posting a picture a day.. for the most part I have been taking them.. just lazy on posting them.. but SOON. Cram session.

Well.. I know I have been missing days lately but I have just been sooo busy! Yesterday I couldnt post because I was studyin or more like crammin for my exam today.. Amber and I stayed at Denneys till almost 4 once again.. sigh. We can NOT study together lol we pretty much just talk till its really time to focus.. which is usually at like 1 am.. not a good habit to have! On a positive note, I made an 87.. which is almost exactly what I made on my OB exam? and most people I talked to made about the same grade they made on the OB exam.. I dont get that! There must be some sort of correlation or something.. I wonder what it is! Anywho, on another good note, school is cancelled tomorrow!! YAHHHOO! That is super exciting to me because I have test.. and simulation. Im slightly not exciting about making up the test on Monday though because that is when my second OB exam is! eww. Two tests in one day... ugh. and im sure we will have to make up sim too... which I am also not looking forward to considering I HATE sim! We are going to get some supplies for the house after work tonight so that should be good. We also gotta get Typ some dog food and such though.. The bad weather shouldnt be coming in till later though so I think we are good! I am SO tired.. I got approximately 3 hrs of sleep last night and I am wooorn. I gotta stop doing this to myself... seriously. I WILL study in ADVANCE for the next test! haha Im speaking it and declaring it right now! I cant wait till I get home to my wonderful bed though.. well not so wonderful bed actually its a horrible mattress.. but my bed nonetheless. I wish this weather would clear up so we can go get our new bed.. not new but new to us! Im not sure what I plan to do the rest of the night but I think its gonna have something to do with a little cooking, a little tv shows, and a LOT of resting/sleeping! Sounds like a perfect plan to me! Well folks.. thats all I got right now..
